Kadesh United Methodist Church was charted in 1833 and has been a stronghold of Methodism for over 170 years.  The name Kadesh means sacred resting place, which came from the resting place near the border of Canaan where the Israelites camped on their way to the Promised Land.

Our church has had significant growth in membership during the past ten years.  The good attendance in our Children's Department and our Young Adult Class gives us hope that this great church will continue for many years to come.
